Marbella activities

The Serrania de Ronda is a mountainous area between the Costa del Sol and Seville that is famous throughout the world for it’s beautiful white villages, in Spanish known as the Pueblos Blancos. This part of Spain is unique, it is only here that the white villages exists in such abundance. Ronda itself is the largest of the Pueblos Blancos, though in fact Ronda is a city of 40,000 souls, and is the perfect destination from which to explore the white villages.  You will visit most beautiful white villages, Oldest Bull ring in Spain, Bullfight Museum, Church-Cathedral and “Bosco House”. Tour includes English speaking guides and this trip is finished in very nice typical restaurant in the town center of Ronda. Ronda is about 1hour transfer by bus from your hotel.

Typical Spanish dinner will take place in a typically Spanish Cortijo, located in a wonderful place inland Marbella.  The Cortijo has its own bull ring where shows are performed regularly, as well as several traditional style dining rooms, salons, andalucian patios, etc. It’s an amazing place often used for corporate events.

We reccommend  entertainment and show options in this venue.  – Capea (bull fighting demo show) -This show is a bull fighting demo with younger bulls, without hurting the animal. Flamenco show  – The show of some 50 minutes is compiled of different styles between flamenco & traditional Spanish.

Sample the wines and scenery of Andalucia’s region in a boutique winery in the Ronda hills. The Ronda area has been known for its wines since Roman times and the tradition of winemaking continues.  There are over 28 wineries in this area.  Finca La Melonera is one of Ronda´s most fascinating wineries.  This is an organic winery that revived the indigineous grapes that were wiped out by phylloexera plague in the late 19th century. The 2 hour tour of the Winery will begin with a walk through the vineyards where your guide will explain the task of recuperating the lost grape varieties and difference of growing conditions on the estate according to different altitudes and soil conditions.  Visitors will be given a tasting of white wines under a beautiful oak tree in the vineyard.  From there the tour will continue and you will be taken to the barrel room where the wine making process will be explained.  Finally your tour of the winery will end with a wine tasting accompanied by a selection of tapas.
